HV Technicians

Resource Services Group (RSGx) is seeking experienced Western Australian based High Voltage (HV) Technicians to join our team in permanent, full-time positions supporting a major client across multiple sites throughout Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled team, playing a key role in the safe operation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems across diverse site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary equipment testing and schematic verification
• CT testing (220kV & 33kV) using Omicron CT Analyzer
• VT testing (220kV & 33kV) using CPC100
• Primary injection testing for CTs and VTs
• Supporting relay technicians with fault finding, interlocks, and system troubleshooting
• Transformer testing using CPC100
• Preparation of test reports via Omicron software and completion of ITRs
• HV cable disconnection and reconnection
• Busbar stability testing (33kV & 22kV systems) | Busbar ductor testing

Requirements

• This role is open to WA-based candidates only, with mobilisation from Western Australia.
• WA Electrical License
• Construction White Card
• Current LVR/CPR and First Aid certification
• Current HV Certification
• Full Australian Work Rights
