Description

Most marketing roles at your level are a slice of one channel. This one isn’t.

You’ll own how Resonate CX shows up in front of its industries. Our events, our client case studies, the market research reports behind both, and a fair bit that won’t fit on a list. Across industries, more surface area from the start than you’d touch in a decade at a big brand.

The outcome we’re hiring for: qualified leads, and a nurture program that keeps them warm until they’re ready to talk. Events, case studies and research reports are how we get there. They are not the point in themselves, and we’ll measure the role on pipeline, not activity.

About us

Resonate CX is a customer and employee experience platform. Teams use us to turn feedback into action fast: live in 3 weeks, act in 3 clicks, ROI in 3 months. We work across Australia and global markets. Small team, real ownership, no layers.

What you’ll own

Events and industry presence

  • Our presence at industry conferences, end to end: stand, collateral, logistics, staffing, lead capture, follow-up
  • The annual event calendar across our industries and markets
  • Relationships with organisers, including sponsorship renewals
  • Roundtables, client dinners, lunches ,webinars etc
  • Speaking proposals, award entries, and the deadlines that come with them

Research reports: production and launch

  • The production schedule for our industry reports, and making sure they ship: briefing, drafting cadence, design, proofing, sign-off
  • Keeping analysis, copy and design moving to one deadline, across people who don’t report to you
  • Distribution partnerships with industry associations and media
  • Turning each report into a launch program: webinars, client briefings, PR, speaking slots

Customer advocacy

  • Finding the client stories worth telling and getting them produced: interviews, approvals, filming
  • Our reference client pool and testimonial pipeline
  • An advocacy program that keeps proof in sales’ hands

Lead generation and nurture

  • Capturing and following up every lead an event, report or campaign produces, so nothing goes cold in a spreadsheet
  • Running the nurture sequences that keep prospects engaged between touchpoints, with our digital marketer
  • Reporting on what actually generated pipeline, and being honest when something didn’t

And the rest

  • In a team this size, useful things land with whoever can run them. You’ll have room to take on what you’re good at.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–4 years in B2B marketing, events, membership or conference production
  • You’ve run something end to end. Not “supported”. Ran.
  • You think in pipeline, not activity. A busy event that generated nothing is a failed event.
  • You can hold a deadline you don’t own. You’ll be the reason the report ships, chasing people more senior than you. That takes tact and a spine in equal measure.
  • Comfortable on the phone. Much of this job is polite, persistent chasing: report sign-offs, case study approvals, speaker confirmations. If that makes you wince, this isn’t your role.
  • Organised to a fault. Event dates don’t move.
  • Genuinely curious about unglamorous industries. Knowing what keeps a childcare operator awake at night will get you further here than knowing the latest martech stack.
  • Happy to travel, stand at a stand for nine hours, and pack the boxes afterwards.

Nice to have: time at an industry association, B2B media or a conference business, a background in one of our verticals, Pipedrive or similar, comfort with a spreadsheet.

What’s in it for you

  • Ownership from day one, not a slice of someone else’s program
  • A direct line to the leadership team. You’ll be in the strategy conversation, not only the delivery end.
  • Real external visibility: conferences, associations, industry bodies. You’ll build a network.
  • Growth? It’s in your hands.
