Solutions Consultant 

Position Overview 

 

As a Solutions Consultant at Redmap, you will play a critical role in the customer acquisition and implementation journey, partnering with Sales, Product and Consulting teams to design solutions that meet customer business and technical requirements. 

 

You will lead customer discovery, business process analysis and pre-sales engagements. Acting as the trusted advisor, you will guide customers from initial engagement through implementation readiness, supporting delivery teams through go-live and transition into hypercare. 

 

This role requires a strong blend of customer-facing consulting skills, technical capability and commercial awareness, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable solution designs. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Customer Consulting & Implementation Readiness 

 

  • Act as the primary solution advisor during the sales and implementation readiness phases. 
  • Partner with the new business sales team to understand the customer needs, conduct discovery sessions, including demonstrations, and develop fit for purpose contract documentation, scope clarity and alignment with customer expectations. 
  • Lead in depth requirements gathering workshops with customers to define use cases, integration points and success metrics. 
  • Assess customer environments and validate integration requirements across ERP, AP Automation and document management platforms. 
  • Work closely with the Engineering and Professional Services  teams to define integration architecture, data requirements and implementation approaches. 
  • Produce high-quality documentation including process maps, business requirements, user stories and solution specifications. 
  • Support technical workshops covering APIs, data flows, authentication methods, file transfer mechanisms and system dependencies. 
  • Facilitate solution validation activities to ensure customer requirements are understood and achievable prior to implementation. 
  • Support customers and delivery teams through go-live preparation and transition into hypercare. 

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Conduct solution demonstrations tailored to customer use cases and business processes. 
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide proactive communication throughout the customer journey. 
  • Drive best practices across customer strategy including documentation, requirement gathering and customer management. 
  • Understanding and qualification of requirements for modifications to the existing solution suite including documentation change request forms, user stories and associated documentation 
  • Coordinate and validate the connection of Redmap to the customer’s (Pronto/Alayacare) environment, ensuring data integrity and functional readiness.Collaborate with product management and professional services to ensure customer feedback is captured and continuous improvements are made to the onboarding experience. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert when interfacing with the customer, the team and other departments, providing clear process and product insights that drive organisational benefits. 
  • Act as the voice of the customer by gathering insights, translating feedback into actionable product requirements, and advocating customer-driven priorities to Product Management. 
  • Work with Product Management to understand new product releases and features and translate to customer-facing materials and incorporate into the pre-sales process. 
  • Work closely with Product, Professional Services and Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in Presales, customer success, or technical enablement roles in SaaS or software implementation environments. 
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, ERP or document automation solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of presales process, software implementation lifecycle, customer onboarding and UAT best practices. 
  • Proven experience leading discovery workshops and translating business requirements into solution designs. 
  • Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and system integration principles. 
  • Experience discussing APIs, data integrations, authentication methods and system architecture with customer IT teams. 
  • Experience creating process maps, requirements documentation, user stories and solution specifications. 
  • Excellent customer facing skills with the ability to act as the end point of escalation and deliver executive level customer service. 
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical requirements  into understandable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
