Melbourne VIC | Full-time | Operational Leadership

  • Lead three key service teams in a growing national medicolegal business
  • Hands-on leadership role with genuine scope to improve and shape operations
  • Ideal for an experienced workers compensation, claims or healthcare leader

Lead great people. Improve how we work. Help shape a growing national medicolegal business..

About RediMed

RediMed is a leading national healthcare provider delivering multidisciplinary health solutions, including pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, injury treatment, drug and alcohol testing, and medicolegal services.

Our dedicated medicolegal arm, RediMedicoLegal (RML), is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead the teams at the centre of our service.

Reporting to our Operations Manager, you’ll lead a team across Client Services, Clinic Services and Medical Expert coordination.

This is a role for someone who likes to be close to the operation. You’ll lead and develop your teams, stay hands-on across each area and roll up your sleeves when needed, while helping us build better and more scalable ways of working as we continue to grow nationally.

The opportunity

You’ll lead day-to-day service delivery while continually looking for ways to improve our systems, workflows and service experience.

A key part of the role is ensuring the different parts of our service work effectively together – from Specialist availability and client referral through to assessment and report delivery. You’ll identify bottlenecks, improve turnaround and address issues before they impact our clients or medical specialists.

You’ll also drive improvements across client and specialist onboarding, engagement and feedback, service standards, processes and procedures, workflow design, capacity planning and automation – ensuring the way we work continues to evolve as the business grows.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and broader leadership team, you’ll use service data and feedback to understand what’s working, what isn’t and where we can improve.

What we’re looking for

You’re a practical, process-driven operational leader with a genuine interest in continuously improving how things work.

You enjoy bringing people, systems and processes together, understanding how an operation works and identifying opportunities to make it simpler, more efficient and more effective.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong people leadership and a willingness to be hands-on
  • Experience leading busy service delivery or operational teams
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, workload and capacity
  • Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills
  • A practical approach to identifying problems early, improving systems and workflows and seeing solutions through
  • Confidence using data to understand performance, capacity and service issues
  • Experience helping teams through growth, systems change or automation

Experience in workers compensation, insurance, claims, healthcare, occupational health, medicolegal or another complex service environment would be valuable.

We’re particularly interested in candidates who understand complex service environments where timeliness, stakeholder experience, quality and compliance all matter.

What you’ll be joining

RediMedicoLegal provides independent medical assessment services to insurers, employers, government organisations and legal firms across Australia.

We’re expanding nationally, growing our medical specialist network and investing in technology and automation to support the next stage of the business.

You’ll join an established operation that is continuing to evolve, with real opportunity to build, improve and influence, rather than simply inherit a function and maintain it.

What We Offer

  • Collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Opportunity to grow with a national business
  • Exposure to a highly specialised and rewarding field
  • Professional development supportt
  • Suite of benefits including birthday leave and access to novated leasing
  • EAP support which includes financial advice.

Interested?

If you’re a practical, people-focused operational leader who enjoys getting involved, making things work better and building teams that can grow with the business, we’d like to hear from you.
