2 roles – Part-time Exercise Scientist & EOI Exercise Scientist Team Leader
RediMed is a growing national allied health organisation specialising in end-to-end occupational health solutions. We’re looking for an Exercise Scientist to join our Eagle Farm clinic on a permanent part-time basis (up to 4 days per week). This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll work
directly with job candidates, conducting pre-employment health assessments. In addition to this, we’re inviting expressions of interest for an Exercise Scientist Team Leader to lead our team as it grows.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct pre-employment medicals including medical history review, audiometry, spirometry, cardiovascular fitness testing, and functional/manual handling assessments.
- Drug and alcohol screening: Administer workplace D&A testing in compliance with relevant legislation, ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality.
- Prepare detailed assessment reports, providing insights and recommendations to employers to support hiring decisions and workplace safety programs.
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of GPs, physiotherapists, OTs, nurses, and exercise physiologists.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role within the medical or rehabilitation sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of clients and employer contacts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Audiometry testing (desirable)
- Drug and alcohol screening (desirable)
- Spirometry training (desirable)
