We’re looking for an organised, adaptable and eager to learn all-rounder to join our Accounts and Administration Team. This is a genuine opportunity for someone at the start of their career, whether you’ve recently finished study or are currently studying towards a qualification (Cert. or Dip) in accounts or business, to gain broad hands-on experience with real training and mentoring, with your role increasingly focused on accounts as you grow.

About the Role

This is a true all-rounder role. You’ll start out providing broad support across our accounts team, general office administration, as well as HR and Payroll assistance, while you learn our systems and processes. This role is geared towards someone who wants to build a long-term career in Accounts.

We’re looking to fill this role quickly, so candidates with available for immediate will be highly regarded.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processing, invoicing and reconciliations
  • Supporting supplier and vendor account administration
  • General office administration and day-to-day team support
  • Providing HR and payroll administrative assistance as needed.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required with growing focus on accounts over time.

Highly Valued but not mandatory

  • Currently studying, or recently completed a qualification in accounts, bookkeeping or business administration.
  • Exposure to accounting or business software such as Xero
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and team
  • Knowledge of SimPRO software
  • A manual driver’s licence is highly regarded

This role is an onsite position, with flexible working hours within the part-time structure.
