Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical practice in Albert Park, Victoria. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and supporting our doctors in delivering exceptional medical services. The successful candidate can work with flexibility, reporting to the Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chronic Disease Management: Independently coordinate and prepare GP Management Plans (GPMPs) and Team Care Arrangements (TCAs).
  • Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments, including 75+ health assessments and 45–49-year-old health checks.
  • Treatment Room: Provide wound care, administer immunisations, and assist with minor surgical procedures.
  • Clinical Operations: Confidently navigate clinical software, with experience using Best Practice highly regarded, although not essential. Onsite training will be provided where required.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working as a Practice Nurse in a general practice setting would be highly regarded.
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated competence and experience in completing care plans and health assessments.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as an RN in a General Practice.
  • Valid police check clearance.
  • Working rights within Australia.
