About the role

Working closely with Farm Managers, you’ll support both daily farm operations and the delivery of ProTen’s safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) programs across the Victoria East region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with day-to-day poultry farm operations and animal welfare
  • Completing routine farm inspections, record keeping and grounds maintenance
  • Supporting safety inspections, toolbox talks and contractor management
  • Reviewing SHEQ documentation, noticeboards and compliance records
  • Assisting with workplace safety and biosecurity initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring documentation is up to date

 

About you

As this is an entry level role, previous experience with SHEQ systems is not essential, but would be highly regarded.

  • Interested in developing a career in WHS, SHEQ or compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Confident communicating with employees and contractors
  • Willing to undertake further study (Certificate IV in WHS)
  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • Ability to work across multiple farm locations
