Operations Manager

Unlike traditional agencies, we manage the entire project lifecycle from pricing strategy and campaign development through to sales, settlement and handover, all under one roof. With more than $3 billion in projects scheduled to launch and national expansion already underway, we’re entering our next stage of growth.

As we scale, we’re creating an Operations Manager role at our Brisbane head office to build and continually improve the operating system of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll own the systems, workflows and governance that sit under every project and every team, spotting friction before it becomes a problem and building foundations that let the business scale without losing quality or agility. You’ll start immersed in the detail, learning how ProjX operates today before designing how it should operate tomorrow.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll own the operations function end to end, combining hands-on delivery with the design thinking a growing business depends on. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and continually improve business-wide operational processes.
• Own the architecture of our monday.com ecosystem and the workflows built on it.
• Build scalable operating frameworks that hold up as the business grows.
• Lead operational change projects from concept through to adoption.
• Establish governance, reporting and operational KPIs.
• Develop documentation, SOPs and the knowledge systems that keep them current.
• Manage operational risk and business continuity.
• Lead and develop the Operations function.

About You

You’ll be a commercially minded operator who is as comfortable designing the system as running it.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Substantial experience in business operations, operational excellence or process improvement.
• A track record of designing systems and frameworks that let an organisation scale.
• Strong experience with CRM or workflow platforms such as monday.com, HubSpot or similar.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional operational projects end to end.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on execution.
• Proven change management skills and the judgement to bring people with you.
• Experience leading or developing a team will be highly regarded.
• Experience in project marketing, property, development, professional services or project-based businesses will be highly regarded.
