Profile Build Group is a boutique insurance builder seeking a highly organised team member to fill the full-time role of Contracts Administrator in our fast-paced team.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting the delivery of construction and insurance building projects. You will work closely with Supervisors, Estimators, Project Administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure all contractual, compliance and administrative processes are managed accurately and efficiently, and that projects are construction-ready prior to site allocation.

Your Tasks

  • Manage contract documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete and compliant
  • Act as the key point of contact for contract-related queries across the business
  • Review certifications and liaise with engineers, certifiers and stakeholders to obtain approvals
  • Conduct pre-construction audits to ensure all documentation and approvals are in place prior to project allocation
  • Prepare and process variations, including standard, negative and cash settlement variations
  • Raise and manage excess invoices and follow up approvals to ensure timely processing
  • Monitor project timelines and manage Extensions of Time (EOT), including preparation and submission of documentation
  • Maintain registers for variations, EOTs and compliance documentation
  • Ensure projects meet all compliance requirements including QBCC and QLeave obligations
  • Maintain and update client documentation, selection forms and contract records
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring job files are complete and up to date
  • Support continuous improvement of contract administration processes and workflows

Qualifications/Work Experience

  • Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator or similar role within construction or insurance building
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, compliance and project documentation
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in business systems and documentation management
  • Experience with QBCC and QLeave processes is highly regarded
  • Experience within insurance building or reinstatement projects is advantageous
  • Qualifications in Construction Management, Business or a related field desirable
