Procurement Consultant | Brisbane or Melbourne

We are seeking a Procurement Consultant to join our team in Brisbane or Melbourne, suited to individuals with early to mid-level procurement experience who are looking to build their capability in a client-facing consulting environment.

 

This is not an operational purchasing role. You will be involved in the delivery of end-to-end procurement engagements, supporting strategy development through to contract award, while working closely with experienced consultants and managers.

 

Working across multiple clients, industries, and procurement challenges, this role offers exposure beyond a single organisation or category, with end-to-end involvement in a broad range of procurement and contract management activities.

You Will

  • Support delivery of end-to-end procurement and contract management activities
  • Assist in developing procurement strategies, market approach documentation, and recommendation papers
  • Contribute to tender processes including documentation, evaluation, and negotiation
  • Undertake market research, spend analysis, and business needs analysis
  • Support contract management activities and performance reviews
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables
  • Facilitate or support workshops and stakeholder engagements
  • Build effective working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Manage tasks and deliverables in line with project timelines and expectations

 

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-5 years procurement or contract management experience
  • Exposure to end-to-end procurement processes or sourcing activities
  • Experience working within government or corporate environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical capability with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
