WHAT IS THE ROLE? We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Truck Driver to join our Victorian team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our hire operation – you’ll be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of Preston Hire equipment to and from customer sites, keeping the assigned vehicle in top condition, and supporting day-to-day yard and workshop operations.

KEY TASKS INCLUDE:

• Safely driving and operating Preston Hire vehicles in accordance with all road laws and company procedures
• Delivering and collecting hire equipment; ensuring all loads are correctly secured and documented
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting defects promptly
• Preparing, inspecting, and assembling equipment for delivery and following return from site
• Completing delivery dockets, checklists, timesheets, and other documentation accurately and on time

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We’re looking for someone who takes pride in safe, professional work and represents the business well on every site they visit. To be considered you will need, as a minimum, a current heavy vehicle driver’s licence (HR, or HC class) and a White Card. A forklift licence and wise load experience is an advantage.
