Description

The Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Project Engineer/Coordinator is responsible for delivering projects across the Oil & Gas, Mining and Defence sectors, managing scope, schedules, budgets and outcomes. The role builds strong client relationships, engages senior stakeholders, and supports tenders, presentations and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to scope.

• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and resource plans.

• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and deliver quality outcomes.

• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, quality plans and progress reports.

• Coordinate vendors, procurement activities and project deliverables to meet deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements across all project activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline

• Experience with hydraulic systems or industrial equipment will be highly regarded.

• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial or related sectors is highly regarded.

• Proven experience managing technical or engineering projects from start to finish.

• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to client expectations.

• Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling and risk management skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience using Microsoft Office and project management software.
