The Role
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated team members to join our testing team in Henderson, working on our Defence contract. There would be opportunities for motivated candidates with a mechanical fitting, pipefitter or plumbing background to break into the hydraulic industry with training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pressure test and flushing procedures on a range of different systems using a variety of different mediums (hydro, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel etc.)
- Fabricate, assemble, and install components and systems according to specifications and industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct inspections and testing of components to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Oversee the commissioning of systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet project requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members on hydraulic systems and components
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and prepare reports as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
Qualifications & Experience
- Sound knowledge of fluid power applications, principles, and systems
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in hydraulics, plumbing or mechanical engineering (preferred)
- Sound knowledge of hydraulic fittings and their applications.
- Strong knowledge of marine systems.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures in the workplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid Australian driver’s license is required (or equivalent)
- Availability to travel to job sites as needed
