Description

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. The IT Administrator will work closely with other members of the IT team to provide technical support and ensure that all hardware and software is up-to-date and secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as needed
  • Install and configure software and hardware, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals
  • Monitor system performance and ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring that all users have the appropriate access levels
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of company data
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure that data is protected and recoverable in the event of a system failure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT, and make recommendations for improvements to the company’s IT infrastructure

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Experience with network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
