About the Role
Reporting to the Quality, WH&S and Warranty Manager, the Field Service
Technician ensures customers receive professional, timely and effective
after-sales support, providing expert diagnostics, repairs and technical
guidance that maximise the performance and longevity of their Plungie product
through:
- Delivering high-quality field service,
warranty repairs, maintenance and technical support for Plungie products,
ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Diagnosing faults, identify practical
solutions, and complete a range of repair and remediation works to Plungie’s
quality standards.
- Building positive customer relationships
through professional communication, exceptional service and strong
representation of the Plungie brand.
- Maintaining accurate records of work
completed, including labour, materials and repair outcomes, while providing
regular progress updates to management.
- Promoting a safe and compliant work
environment by following company procedures, conducting pre-start and quality
checks, safely operating equipment and vehicles, and adhering to all WHS
requirements.
Note: Flexibility to travel extensively throughout Australia and work away from home for extended
periods to support customers and project delivery will be required.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have
- Previous experience in a trade, trade
assistant, maintenance, construction, or similar hands-on role.
- Demonstrated experience with general repairs,
fault finding, and the safe use of construction hand and power tools.
- Experience working with concrete products,
cement-based materials, coatings, repair compounds, or similar construction
materials.
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence with a
safe and responsible driving record, and the ability to undertake regular
intrastate and interstate travel, including extended periods of driving.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as
part of a small team in remote environments, customer homes, construction
sites, and manufacturing facilities.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and
safety, with the ability to work in physically demanding environments involving
chemicals, concrete products, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
