We’re now looking for an Executive Manager to lead, inspire and grow our Advice division — a critical leadership role shaping adviser success, client outcomes, and sustainable business performance.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading a high-performing team of Financial Advisers, strengthening adviser relationships, and uplifting advice quality, productivity, and client outcomes.

You’ll partner closely with the Head of Advice and broader leadership team to translate strategy into execution — ensuring advisers are supported, accountable, and operating effectively within a highly regulated environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Adviser Relationship Management (Critical Focus)

  • Build and maintain trusted, high-impact relationships with Financial Advisers
  • Understand adviser business models, motivations, and the pressures of advice delivery
  • Act as a key escalation point and trusted partner to support adviser performance and retention

Team Leadership & Development (Critical Focus)

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15+ advisers and professionals
  • Build a strong performance culture focused on accountability, quality advice, and continuous improvement
  • Drive capability uplift through coaching, structured development, and regular feedback

Client Outcomes & Advice Performance

  • Lift the quality, consistency, and efficiency of advice delivery
  • Support advisers to improve client outcomes, engagement, and long-term value
  • Monitor performance across key metrics including productivity, client outcomes, and pipeline health

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within adviser networks and client segments
  • Convert adviser relationships into sustainable commercial outcomes
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through strategic engagement

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Contribute to business-wide strategy and planning
  • Translate organisational goals into clear, actionable team plans
  • Provide meaningful insights and reporting to senior leadership on KPIs and performance

Technology & Enablement

  • Champion the use of technology, automation, and AI to improve adviser efficiency and client experience
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed tools that support scalable advice delivery
  • Drive adoption of systems and processes that enhance productivity and compliance

Advice Delivery, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure advice is delivered in line with AFSL obligations and regulatory standards
  • Support advisers in meeting best interests duty and compliance requirements
  • Manage escalations and complex client or advice matters with professionalism and care

What You Bring

Experience & Capability

  • Proven experience leading teams within financial advice or financial services
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong adviser relationships
  • Experience leading and developing teams of 15+ with a focus on performance and engagement
  • Strong business development mindset with a track record of contributing to growth

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the Australian financial advice landscape, including: AFSL environment and licensing requirements Compliance and regulatory obligations Advice processes and client value proposition Platforms and product ecosystems

Leadership & Commercial Thinking

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into execution
  • Strong commercial acumen with data-informed decision making
  • Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders
