Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Workshop Foreman to lead and transform our workshop into a high-performing, efficient operation. This is not just a supervisory role – it’s an opportunity to take ownership, implement systems, mentor a small team, and help shape the future of our workshop.

We offer a competitive salary and are open to structuring an attractive package for the right candidate, including a company vehicle and/or housing support. We will work with the right candidate to support relocation, including moving costs, housing assistance, and helping your family settle into the area.

Currently servicing our own fleet, we are planning for growth into a community-facing workshop, supported by strong local demand and our strategically located Welshpool depot. We are ready to invest in the right person, the right systems, and the right equipment – we just need the right leader to drive it.

You’ll be supported by apprentices, a qualified mechanic, and admin staff, allowing you to focus on leadership, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor workshop staff, including apprentices
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance and repair work
  • Implement systems to improve workflow, efficiency, and accountability
  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship
  • Manage workshop productivity, downtime, and reporting
  • Liaise with management on workshop performance and future growth
  • Contribute to the development of a potential retail workshop offering

We offer a competitive salary and are open to structuring an attractive package for the right candidate, including a company vehicle and/or housing support.
