Purpose

The OSHC Educator supports the OSHC Coordinator in the provision of a high quality Outside School Hours Care program which meets government regulatory standards, service requirements and customer expectations.

Skills, Experience and/or Qualifications:

• Cert III in Children Services or higher, equivalent or working towards
• An understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
• Previous experience in teaching, childcare and/or OSHC preferred
• Understanding of WH&S principles

Special Requirements:

• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
• Current Paid Blue Card
• Consent to be Responsible Person in Charge of the service (if required)
