We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Aged Care to lead operational strategies across our home care and Support at Home services.

Position Overview:

As Operations Manager – Aged Care, you will oversee daily operations, drive performance, and ensure compliance across our home care and Support at Home programs. You’ll collaborate with leadership, clinicians, and support teams to enhance service quality, streamline processes, and foster a high-performing, values-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership – Develop and implement plans that align with organisational goals and identify growth opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence – Manage day-to-day home care and Support at Home operations, including staffing, scheduling, and service delivery.
  • Team Management – Lead, mentor, and manage a collaborative, high-performing team, including performance management and staff development.
  • Audit & Compliance – Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, and ensure ongoing compliance with aged care standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and key stakeholders.
  • Financial Management – Oversee budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement – Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Community Engagement – Represent the organisation and build partnerships with healthcare providers and local authorities.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in home care and Support at Home operations (essential).
  • Proven experience leading and managing staff, including rostering, performance management, and team development (essential).
  • Hands-on experience preparing for and managing audits, including internal reviews and external regulatory audits (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care and NDIS compliance, quality standards, WHS, infection control, and SIRS.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Additional Requirements:

  • The right to work unrestricted in Australia (evidence required).
  • National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months) or willingness to apply for one.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply for one).
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
