The Role
We are seeking an experienced Events Team Lead to lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of a diverse range of internal and external events across the organisation. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end event lifecycle while leading a small events team to
deliver high-quality, engaging, and well-executed events that align with our organisational goals and brand. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, venues, and partners to ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the Events team to deliver successful events.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute conferences, expos, community events, training sessions, and corporate functions.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, and project plans.
- Source and manage relationships with venues, suppliers, contractors, and event partners.
- Ensure all events comply with organisational policies, health and safety requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand event objectives and deliver tailored event solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve event processes and enhance the attendee experience.
- Monitor event outcomes, gather feedback, and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage competing priorities and multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
About You
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering corporate, community, or large-scale events.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional organisational, project management, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and event logistics.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Experience within healthcare, aged care, disability, or community services is highly regarded.
