Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and regulatory issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, providing clear and practical guidance.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Manage case files and ensure compliance with court procedures and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Admission to practice law in Australia.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial litigation as an associate lawyer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and a client-focused approach.
