About the business
Penny For Pound are a busy bakery cafe, operating out of our custom built HQ in Moorabbin. We produce a high-quality product, baked fresh daily and delivered to various cafes around Melbourne 365 days a year. We create a wide range of sourdough bread, flakey pastries, cakes and cookies for our local community, and welcome them to our open production kitchen and cafe space.
We are a friendly, tight knit team, who take pride in what we do.

- This roles would suit someone keen to further improve skills and experience. Also open to students looking to learn hands on skills.
- Previous experience in a production kitchen environment will make you a strong candidate for this role, but is not essential.
- Training Provided for someone with a strong work ethic, reliable, and interested in learning new things
- Variety of Jobs and general kitchen duties such as: Shaping pastries, rolling croissants, laminating dough, prooving and baking assorted pastries, preparing fillings and garnishes, working within a team to full-fill production requirements.
- Variety of start times, but early mornings and weekend work are required.
