Join our Peninsula Hot Springs team as a Full-Time Pool Technician and dive into a rewarding career in the Water Industry!

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to ensure our water quality, system stability, and assets are maintained to the highest standards. Prior experience with pumps and valves or mechanical experience is an advantage and/or are eager to learn the ropes of water treatment management, this role offers an excellent entry point and clear career pathways.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical & Water Control: Test and adjust pool temperatures and flows, including filling and draining pools.
  • Water Quality & Compliance: Run scheduled water tests to keep our facilities safe and compliant.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Manage pool debris, clean skimmer baskets and strainers, and look after treatment plant equipment.
  • Troubleshooting & Communication: Provide first-response troubleshooting and communicate operational updates to Duty Managers

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Working in both outdoor and industrial environments in varying weather conditions.
  • Performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, and manual handling of equipment.
  • Safely handling water treatment chemicals.

What You Bring

  • A willingness to learn and develop skills in Water Treatment management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Mechanical work experience or familiarity with valves and pumps (highly desirable).
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • A valid driver’s license and a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
