We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader to lead our
afternoon/evening shift operations.
You will oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of operators, with accountability for inventory accuracy, safety standards, on-time dispatch, and GMP compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance people management with operational delivery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The Role
Position: Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader
Location: Ingleburn
Shift: Afternoon/Evening | Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the warehouse team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance, while fostering an open communication culture aligned with PDP values.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch, ensuring orders are processed and delivered on time.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, working closely with carriers, suppliers and the purchasing department to align stock levels with demand and resolve delivery issues.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and NetSuite/Smart Count compliance, reporting discrepancies to relevant parties.
- Enforce safety, food safety, and GMP standards across the team, including temperature compliance in cool rooms and chilled storage.
- Ensure pallet racking, forklifts, and warehouse equipment are maintained and in safe working condition, reporting damages promptly.
- Support Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance, including load data accuracy and driver induction processes.
- Resolve team and operational issues as they arise, report incidents and near misses, and maintain reporting on inventory, productivity, and KPIs.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics team leader capacity
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of WHS regulations and best practice in warehouse operations
- Available to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
Highly Desirable
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
- GMP and food safety compliance experience
- Chain of Responsibility (CoR) awareness
- NetSuite or similar ERP/WMS experience
