Summary:

The Marketing Content Coordinator is the hands on production role in Pay Cat’s marketing team.

What you’ll be responsible for

This is a varied, hands on marketing role where you’ll help turn ideas into content that gets noticed, builds our audience and brings the Pay Cat brand to life.

Create content people want to engage with

  • Plan, create and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Turn industry news, ideas and key messages into engaging posts, carousels, graphics and other content.
  • Create and maintain eBooks, lead magnets and supporting blog content.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to bring the content strategy to life.

Bring ideas to life through video

  • Edit reels, talking head and avatar style videos and turn raw footage into polished content.
  • Manage the video workflow from recording through to editing, review and publishing.
  • Create and manage content for YouTube and other video channels.

Support webinars, events and campaigns

  • Coordinate the promotion and operational delivery of webinars and events.
  • Manage registrations, attendance data, captions, clips and post-event content.
  • Prepare presentation slides and other campaign and partner collateral.
  • Turn webinars and events into additional content that keeps working long after the event.

Keep our website and digital content fresh

  • Make simple updates to the HubSpot website, including copy, images, layouts and landing pages.
  • Create and update website imagery, mock-ups and teaser content.
  • Keep our eBook and lead magnet library organised and up to date.

Know what’s working

  • Collate performance data across HubSpot and our social channels.
  • Prepare regular reporting so the team can see what’s performing and where there are opportunities.
  • Track trends in engagement, leads and content performance and use the insights to improve what we do.

Work smarter with AI

  • Use tools such as Claude and ChatGPT as part of your everyday workflow for research, writing, content creation and analysis.
  • Make the most of AI capabilities already built into our marketing tools.
  • Be curious about new technology and constantly look for smarter and more creative ways to work.

And importantly…  We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just tick off the content calendar. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas, experiment with new formats and technology, spot opportunities and help us continually improve how we show up online. We need someone who really loves working with autonomy, this role needs a self-starter, someone who can see what needs to be done and just do it.

About you:

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design tools is a plus.
