Bar Manager – Vista’Mare | Crown Sydney

Maestro Hospitality is excited to launch Vista’Mare, the newest addition to our expanding Italian dining precinct at Crown Sydney.

Inspired by the vibrant coastal venues of Italy, Vista’Mare will offer an energetic all-day dining experience featuring premium cocktails, aperitivo culture, curated wine selections, and exceptional hospitality in one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront destinations.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead our bar operation from opening and help establish a strong culture, exceptional service standards, and a high-performing team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the bar operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving team performance, beverage quality, and operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional looking to take ownership of a new venue and grow within a dynamic hospitality group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, coach and develop the bar team
  • Drive beverage standards and service consistency
  • Manage daily bar operations and service execution
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory and wastage management
  • Assist with beverage costing and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing and company policies
  • Support staff engagement, retention and development
  • Monitor labour costs and assist with rostering
  • Identify and implement operational improvements
  • Build strong guest relationships and professionally resolve feedback
  • Drive beverage sales through team education and product knowledge

About You

  • Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or Senior Supervisor in a premium hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, amari, spirits, wine and beverage operations
  • Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience managing stock, ordering and beverage cost controls
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current NSW RSA Certificate
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Experience within premium restaurants, hotels, bars or large hospitality venues highly regarded
