The Role

As a Barista, you will take ownership of our coffee cart, confidently managing it independently while delivering consistently high-quality coffee and five-star guest service.

You will manage guest orders and payments, maintain stock levels, and keep the coffee cart clean, organised and ready for service.

We are looking for part-time Baristas who are available for morning shifts across a Monday-to-Friday roster, including public holidays where required.

General Responsibilities

  • Independently open, operate and close the hotel’s coffee cart
  • Prepare consistently high-quality coffee
  • Produce professional latte art and maintain presentation standards
  • Manage guest orders and payments efficiently
  • Monitor and replenish coffee, milk, cups and other supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness, food safety and equipment-care standards
  • Provide prompt, courteous and personalised guest service
  • Handle busy service periods calmly and efficiently
  • Assist other food and beverage outlets when required

About You

You’re an experienced and confident Barista who can manage a coffee cart independently. You take pride in the quality and presentation of every coffee and enjoy creating a welcoming experience for guests.

You will bring:

  • Previous professional Barista experience
  • Demonstrated coffee art and milk-texturing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The confidence and reliability to work without direct supervision
  • Knowledge of coffee-machine calibration, cleaning and basic troubleshooting
  • Experience in a five-star hotel or premium hospitality environment is highly regarded

Pay & Conditions

This is a Level 2, Grade 2 position under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award. You’ll be rostered on a rotating Monday–Friday schedule in line with business operations.
