Join us as a Power BI & Automation Developer in this 12-month fixed-term opportunity and play a pivotal role in delivering our next-generation analytics platform. We’re on a mission to unify our data, empower every team with actionable insights, and automate business processes that drive operational excellence.
You’ll be at the heart of our transformation – building intuitive dashboards, streamlining workflows, and turning complex information into clear, meaningful insights that support decision-making across the business, from farm operations through to executive leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who not only enjoys the technical side of Power BI and automation, but who also genuinely values collaboration, communication, customer experience, and producing high-quality work they are proud of.
What you’ll do
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Apply data visualisation best practices to create intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly
reporting solutions.
- Transform and model data using Power Query (M) and build calculations using DAX for KPIs
and measures.
- Publish, manage, and maintain reports securely via Power BI Service and embedded solutions.
- Build and maintain automated workflows across Microsoft 365 and external systems using
Power Automate.
- Develop Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational
efficiency.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, ask
thoughtful questions, and translate business needs into clear analytical solutions.
- Ensure all dashboards, reports, and communications are accurate, polished, visually
consistent, and aligned to business standards and branding.
- Continuously seek to understand the operational side of the business to deliver solutions
that genuinely add value.
About You
Do you enjoy turning complex information into clear, meaningful insights while working with people across all areas of a business? You take pride in producing high-quality work that is accurate, polished, and genuinely useful. Beyond the technical side, you understand the importance of communication, collaboration, and creating a positive experience for stakeholders. Curious by nature, you ask thoughtful questions, listen well, and take the time to properly understand challenges before jumping to solutions. You enjoy being part of a collaborative team that works hard, supports one another, and has fun along the way. A strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and genuine care for the quality of your work are just as important to you as your technical capability. If you thrive on solving complex problems, love turning data into meaningful stories, and want to make a genuine impact in a growing business, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer creating interactive dashboards and visualisations.
- Strong experience with Power Automate and workflow automation across Microsoft 365 and external systems.
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy, presentation, and visual quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear, practical, and user-friendly solutions.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
- A genuine willingness to learn the operational side of the business and understand user needs.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.
