Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle West, NSW. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our hospitality environment, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and inventory logs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
