Summary:
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires knowledge of coffee flavors, brewing methods, and drink recipes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of hot and cold beverages, snacks, and pastries according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Offer advice to customers on drink choices
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Barista in a high-volume café.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, latte art, and drink recipes.
