Integration Developer

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role exists to keep Obzervr’s integration footprint fast, resilient and trustworthy as we grow. You’ll design, build and maintain the integrations that let our platform exchange data reliably with customer and third-party systems, using established middleware platforms alongside AI-assisted tooling to speed up your work – always under sound human judgement and governance. There’s a genuine pathway toward Senior Integration Developer or Integration Solution Architect, with lateral moves into Professional Services or wider Engineering roles as you grow.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Design, develop and implement robust integration solutions using platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Prismatic, Apache Camel, Azure Functions and Logic Apps, or similar.
• Create APIs that enable efficient, secure data exchange between business systems.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to write, review and refactor integration and automation code, applying effective prompting techniques to speed up design and data-mapping work.
• Configure and maintain integration environments and secure connections between internal and external systems.
• Use AI-assisted anomaly detection to identify patterns in data traffic and flag likely failure points before they cause outages.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, including using AI to model realistic data loads and user behaviour for stress-testing integration scenarios.
• Provide technical support for integration issues, from triage through to resolution.
• Champion safe, effective AI adoption within the integration practice and share learnings with the wider team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in integration middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Prismatic, Apache Camel, or similar.
• Strong understanding of API development, SOAP and RESTful web services, and common data formats like XML and JSON.
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with database management and SQL.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted coding and testing tools as part of your standard workflow, with sound judgement on when and how to apply them safely.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
