We are currently seeking both a Casual Receptionist and a Fixed-Term Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our Perth team based in Applecross on a maternity leave contract through until July 2027.
We’re open to flexible arrangements for the right candidates, including the option to combine both roles for someone interested in working across Dental Assisting and Reception. There may also be an opportunity for the roles to transition into permanent positions for the right person.
The Roles
These are varied opportunities offering the chance to support our patients and team across either clinical assisting or front office responsibilities.
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll support our clinicians chairside and play an important role in delivering exceptional clinical care and patient support.
As a Receptionist, you’ll provide a welcoming and professional experience for patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
Working closely with the clinical and administrative team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience from the very first interaction through to treatment completion.

You’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist, or in a similar patient-facing role

- A strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professionalism
For the Dental Assistant role, knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures, along with confidence taking X-rays and dental impressions (or willingness to learn), will be highly regarded.

- Experience within implant or surgical dentistry
- Knowledge of dental practice management software
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience
