Bus Driver – Karratha or Newman Residential

We are seeking experienced and reliable Bus Drivers to join our Karratha and Newman depots for ongoing ad hoc work. These roles are suited to local residents who are available to support a range of transport requirements across airport transfers, mine site movements, school services, sporting groups and tourism charters.

These positions are residential roles only and are open to applicants who currently live locally in Karratha or Newman. FIFO, DIDO and accommodation arrangements are not available for these positions.

About the role:

As a Residential Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, professional and customer-focused passenger transport services. You will represent the business while working closely with administration, scheduling and site teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Daily duties may include:

• Completing airport transfers, mine site transfers, school runs, sporting club movements and tourism charters
• Operating passenger buses safely, professionally and in line with road, site and company requirements
• Conducting pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle faults or maintenance requirements
• Detailing, cleaning and refuelling vehicles as required
• Completing basic paperwork and communicating with administration and scheduling staff

To be successful, applicants must:

• Currently reside locally in Karratha or Newman
• Hold a current HR licence
• Have demonstrated experience driving passenger buses
• Hold a current Passenger Transport Driver authorisation (PTD)
• Hold a Fatigue Management Certificate valid within the past three years
• Hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
• Be able to meet client and site requirements, including routine and random drug and alcohol testing

Previous experience in the transport industry, Pilbara mine site transfers and tourism charters will be highly regarded. Applicants must be available for ongoing ad hoc work and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability and professional customer service.
