Support the leaders who are transforming justice across the Northern Territory.

Behind every successful organisation is someone who keeps everything moving.

At NAAJA, our lawyers, advocates, caseworkers and support teams work every day to improve justice outcomes for Aboriginal people across the Northern Territory. But they can’t do it alone.

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and professional Senior Corporate Administration Officer to become the engine room of our Corporate Services team.

This is far more than an administration role, it’s an opportunity to work at the centre of one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, supporting our Executive Leadership Team while helping coordinate the systems, governance, facilities and operations that enable more than 300 staff to deliver life-changing services across the Territory.

If you’re someone who loves bringing order to complexity, building great systems, supporting senior leaders and making things happen, this could be the perfect role for you.

You’ll play a key role in…

  • Supporting NAAJA’s Executive Leadership Team with high-level administration and coordination.
  • Keeping our Darwin Corporate Office operating efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinating procurement, corporate assets, facilities and supplier relationships.
  • Supporting Board and governance administration.
  • Leading our front-of-house operations to create a welcoming, culturally safe environment.
  • Mentoring our Corporate Services Administration Trainee.
  • Driving continuous improvement across corporate administration and business support functions.
  • Working with teams across Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek to keep our organisation running at its best.

Who we’re looking for

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Loves organisation, planning and problem solving.
  • Has experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
  • Communicates professionally with people at every level.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Enjoys improving systems and finding better ways of working.
  • Wants to be part of an organisation with purpose.

Why you’ll love working at NAAJA

At NAAJA, every role contributes to improving the lives of Aboriginal people.

You’ll join a supportive, values-driven organisation where your work has real purpose and your contribution is recognised.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary ($83,993.7 to $96,262.55)
  • 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 3 weeks personal leave and cultural leave more in accordance with Enterprise Agreement
  • Salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free
  • Professional development and career progression opportunities
  • A supportive and culturally safe workplace
  • Meaningful work that makes a genuine difference to communities across the Northern Territory

Help us keep NAAJA moving forward.

If you’re ready to use your administration skills to support an organisation making a real impact across the Northern Territory, we’d love to hear from you.
