This is a role for someone who enjoys people, variety and getting things done. No two days will look exactly the same. You’ll speak with clients, coordinate services, prepare court lists, manage important information and provide the practical support our lawyers need to deliver their work.

You’ll help make sure clients are connected with the right people and services, information is accurate and up to date, and the team is ready to support clients both in Katherine and across the NT.

  • Coordinating practical support for clients, including transport, accommodation and assessments
  • Preparing court lists and organising files for duty lawyer and bush court services
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Criminal Law team

You’ll bring:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and professional approach to working with clients
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems
  • The ability to stay calm, focused and organised in a busy environment
  • A genuine commitment to teamwork and quality client service
  • Previous legal, administration or client service experience is desirable, but not essential

You’ll also need to be willing to obtain an Ochre Card and successfully complete a criminal history check.

You’ll join a passionate team working to improve access to justice and make a meaningful difference for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the Northern Territory.
