Description

The HSE Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives within the public sector. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and promoting a safe working environment. The HSE Administrator will assist in the implementation of HSE policies and procedures, contributing to the overall safety culture of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE incidents and reports.
  • Provide support in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
  • Coordinate HSE training sessions and workshops for staff.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of HSE documentation for regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote HSE awareness and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar HSE role within the public sector or government.
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
