NoosaCare is seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel Services Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services across our two aged care facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a strong background in hotel services, food and beverage operations, and multi-department leadership to bring their expertise into a rewarding aged care environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring residents receive outstanding services that support their comfort, dignity and wellbeing every day.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple hotel service functions, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards. You will be responsible for leading diverse teams, driving service excellence, managing budgets and supplier relationships, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and resident-centred care. The position works predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and after-hours support requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance departments to deliver high-quality resident-focused services.
- Drive a culture of service excellence, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards, food safety legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.
- Oversee food service operations, including meal delivery, food quality, food safety systems, and resident dining experiences.
- Manage workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation across multiple departments.
- Develop, mentor and support your team to build capability and improve performance.
- Manage budgets, procurement activities, supplier contracts, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure hotel services support resident outcomes and satisfaction.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits, and accreditation activities.
- Monitor resident feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or Leadership highly regarded.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Hotel Services Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience within a 5-star hotel, luxury hospitality environment, premium accommodation provider, or similar service-focused operation.
- Strong Food & Beverage leadership experience, including oversight of large-scale catering operations.
- Previous experience working in aged care, healthcare, retirement living or a similarly regulated environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience overseeing multiple operational departments simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, quality systems, and continuous improvement processes.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing food safety programs and standards.
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership skills.
- Strong financial, budgeting, and operational management capabilities.
