About the Role

We are looking for full-time Plumber to service our regional metering contracts. Your day will be scheduled to attend residential and light commercial.

This is not your standard plumbing role – you will be doing some light plumbing work whilst installing and changing meters.

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

• Smart/digital meter upgrades
• External meter swaps
• Radio device installation
• Data logs, reads, leak alerts
• Minor troubleshooting (battery, signal)
• Follow correct replacement procedures.
• Customer Service – face to face and phone
• Perform tasks within budgets and time frames
• Communicate regularly with office support team
• Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records
• Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S policies and procedures.
• Work independently throughout Ballarat and surrounding areas

About You 

We are looking for reliable and dedicated plumbers to help us on a variety of ongoing metering contracts.

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Registered plumber (we will consider licensed plumbers on a subcontractor basis who live locally)
• Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (physical fitness)
• Ability to work in most weather conditions.
• Flexible and comfortable with daily travel
• Own hand tools
• A current driver’s licence
• A white card
