Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities? New Haven Farm Home is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis.

We are looking for individuals who are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where every person can thrive and live their best life.

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities will vary depending on the shift and client needs. Duties may include:

  • Transporting clients to appointments and community activities
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and general household maintenance
  • Providing personal care, including showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Administering and assisting with medications
  • Supporting clients with behaviours of concern
  • Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote skill development and independence
  • Completing administrative tasks such as scanning and renaming documents

Flexibility is essential for success in this role, as is a willingness to work across different sites and adapt to changing needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in disability or aged care (highly regarded)
  • A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Reliability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to care
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence and confidence driving beyond the Hawkesbury area, including to the city and Blue Mountains

Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain):

  • CPR and First Aid
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Completion of internal training modules as part of induction
