We’re recruiting across the following disciplines:

Conventional NDT MT, PT, UT, RT, VT, and ET certified technicians ready to hit the ground running on turnaround and campaign scopes.

Advanced NDT TOFD, Phased Array, AUBT, and Guided Wave (LRUT) operators. Complex scopes on high energy piping, pressure vessels, and structural assets.

Tube Inspection IRIS, RFET, NFT, and MFL tube inspection technicians. Heat exchangers, boilers, and condenser inspections on major shutdowns.

Pressure Equipment Inspection API 510, API 570, and API 653 qualified inspectors. Fitness for service assessments, RBI execution, and compliance to AS/NZS 3788.

Tank Inspection API 653 certified inspectors and technicians experienced in aboveground storage tank inspection, floor scanning (MFL), shell surveys, and integrity assessments.

Summary:

The Shutdown & Project Inspection Personnel will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of mining operations during shutdown periods. This temporary position is essential for maintaining compliance with industry standards and enhancing operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to conduct thorough inspections and assessments, contributing to the overall success of mining projects in Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed inspections of equipment and facilities during shutdown periods to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of inspection findings and recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in the development and execution of shutdown plans, ensuring all activities are completed within the designated timeframe.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams during the shutdown process.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of inspection activities, ensuring timely communication of any issues to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, mining, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project inspection or shutdown management within the mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in mining operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and software relevant to the mining industry.
