Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Stationhand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and operation of a station or farm. The Stationhand will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the station and the welfare of the animals.

Responsibilities:

• Feeding and watering livestock
• Cleaning and maintaining animal enclosures
• Assisting with animal husbandry tasks such as shearing, branding, and vaccination
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
• Fencing and general maintenance of the station or farm
• Assisting with mustering and yard work
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of all animals on the station or farm
• Maintaining accurate records of animal movements and treatments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on a station or farm
• Knowledge of animal husbandry practices
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
