About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our Perth team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inward and outward stock movements, maintaining inventory accuracy and records, and assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment and plant. The successful candidate will become part of a friendly, close-knit team within a national industry leader.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage stock levels and movements and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Receive stock in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Approve packing slips for payment once stock has been reconciled.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including invoice reconciliation and liaison with internal accounts personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers.
  • Report relevant stores and stock data to the Workshop Supervisor as required.
  • Procure service products and maintain accurate records within NPE systems.
  • Prepare hire equipment packages where required.
  • Safely load and unload plant and equipment entering and leaving the yard.
  • Clean and detail plant and equipment.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within the yard and workshop.
  • Manage waste removal and general site cleanliness.
  • Ensure inspection, testing, safety, delivery, purchasing, and related paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Key Competencies

Essential

  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant stores-related qualifications.
  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Forklift Licence (LF).
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Experience using inventory management systems and associated equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and plan proactively.
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative with limited supervision.

Desirable

  • Experience within the rental, mining, construction, or similar industries.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous logistics experience.
