About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Storeperson to join our Darwin team. This hands-on role is responsible for the efficient management of parts, inventory, warehouse operations, and yard activities, ensuring stock accuracy and timely support to our customers and field operations. Working as part of a friendly, close-knit team within a national industry leader, you will play a key role in managing critical spare parts and service equipment across a range of mining, industrial, pump and power generation customers.

 

Key Responsibilities of the role:

·Manage inventory levels, parts, filters, service kits, and critical spares.

  • Coordinate goods receipting, dispatch, freight, and supplier pickups.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage parts and spare components for key customer accounts.
  • Reconcile packing slips and invoices and liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Safely load and unload parts, plant, and equipment.
  • Prepare hire equipment packages and support workshop operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with reporting, purchasing activities, and inventory administration.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse, workshop, and yard.

 

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • Previous experience in a Store person, Warehouse, Logistics or Parts Management role.
  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF).
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Desirable

  • Experience in Rental, Mining or Construction (or similar) Industries
  • Previous experience in logistics and freight coordination.
  • Knowledge of parts and inventory management processes.
