Summary:

As the Head Barista at our North Sydney location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to develop their skills in the hospitality and catering industry. You will lead a team of baristas, ensuring high standards of service and product quality, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring efficient service and high-quality beverages.
• Train and mentor junior baristas in coffee preparation techniques and customer service skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and equipment.
• Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
• Engage with customers to provide a personalised experience and gather feedback.
• Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the workplace.
• Assist in creating seasonal beverage menus and promotional offers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a barista role or similar customer service position is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods.
