Summary:

As the Head Barista at our Aldersyde location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. This permanent, full-time position requires a passionate individual who can lead our barista team, ensuring high standards of quality and service in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the barista team, providing training and support to ensure exceptional service.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages, adhering to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the café.
• Assist in developing new beverage recipes and seasonal offerings to enhance the menu.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
