Mushroom Music are looking for a part-time Royalty and Data Administrator to join their busy Royalties and Analytics Department. This role is an entry level position.
The Royalty and Data Administrator is responsible for supporting the royalty administration process for Mushroom Music, by processing and loading all incoming sales statements and revenue for the respective Mushroom Group companies.
The role ensures that the Group royalty system contains accurate and up to date sales data, and that this data is loaded in a timely manner. The position is also responsible for the accurate loading of label copy and metadata into the Group royalty system.
The successful client will work with the analytics team to process and maintain our live Spotify, Apple Music and other DSP data feeds, which provide our companies with deep dive analytics.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Royalties and Analytics & Royalty Manager, and working closely with the rest of the Group, the successful applicant will:
• Process and clean all incoming sales statements and revenue and then load into the Group royalty system (ReMa).
• Invoicing all income (from Group finance system SAP) to capture correct coding and taxation.
• Maintain Client Vendor Maintenance across both royalty and finance systems
• Process and load new release label copy and metadata into the Group royalty system.
• Manage relationships with DSP, licensee and distribution partners with regards receiving and reviewing incoming sales data.
• Undertake and support the Finance team with month end reconciliations and reviews.
• Assist with the registration of the Mushroom Music’s sound recordings at Public Performance societies .
• Work on adhoc data and analytics tasks.
• Support the Royalties Manager by ensuring our royalty data, metadata and DSP data is clean and accurate.

About You
To be successful in this role you will need to have undertaken some level of tertiary education in a business, music industry or related field. Previous experience working in an office environment that has involved administration and data input/entry would be beneficial. It is required that the applicant has strong knowledge and understanding of the music industry.
Experience using the Microsoft Office package is required, as is being highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Prior experience using the royalty software Record Maestro, or a similar software package would be desirable. As would experience with the finance software SAP.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to prioritise and take personal responsibility for completing tasks to often tight deadlines, excellent communication skills both verbally and written and the ability to step up in busy periods. The Royalty and Data Administrator is responsible for processing and loading all incoming revenue for Mushroom Music, so the role requires the applicant to have an incredible attention to detail.
