We are looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Wangara warehouse and logistics operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, solving problems and helping teams perform at their best.

About the Role

Reporting to the WA Operations Manager, you will lead warehouse operations supporting mining customers throughout Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily warehouse operations across receiving, inventory management, and dispatch.
  • Coordinating warehouse resources and priorities.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory through ERP systems, cycle counts and warehouse management processes.
  • Managing freight bookings and transport providers.
  • Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched on time.
  • Supporting Delivery In Full On Time (DIFOT) performance through effective warehouse planning and coordination.
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture through leadership, coaching and HSEQ compliance.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, productivity, inventory accuracy and warehouse performance.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the Inbound and Dispatch Lead Hands and the warehouse team to achieve high standards of safety, productivity and customer service.

 

About You

You are a practical warehouse leader who enjoys leading from the front, developing people and driving operational excellence. You have a proven ability to coordinate warehouse operations, improve performance and build engaged teams within a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.

 

  • Experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Senior Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor or similar leadership role.
  • Minimum five years’ warehouse operations experience, including at least two years leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and dispatch processes.
  • Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (JDE experience highly regarded).
  • Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
  • Current LF Forklift Licence.
  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop warehouse teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience implementing operational improvements.
