About You
Working closely with the COO and the Executive Team, the General Manager will be a strategic and influential leader who can identify opportunities, build meaningful partnerships, and drive sustainable organisational growth. You are highly collaborative, commercially astute, and passionate about creating positive community impact.
Key Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to
- Lead Mosaic’s growth, partnership and service development priorities during the contract period.
- Identify and assess new opportunities based on strategic fit, participant outcomes, revenue potential, cost, risk and deliverability.
- Maintain a clear pipeline of growth opportunities, including status, next steps, owners and decisions required.
- Develop practical business cases, service concepts and implementation plans for approved opportunities.
- Work with Finance and Operations to confirm pricing, demand, capacity, costs and expected contribution.
- Progress approved opportunities from concept through to mobilisation and revenue commencement.
- Build and maintain purposeful relationships with referrers, partners, providers, funders and community stakeholders.
- Strengthen referral pathways and clearly communicate Mosaic’s service offer and value proposition.
- Ensure new partnerships and services meet quality, safeguarding, safety and NDIS compliance expectations.
- Lead cross-functional work with internal teams to support implementation and resolve barriers.
- Provide concise progress reports, forecasts and risk updates to the Chief Operations Officer.
- Prepare handover information so approved initiatives can transition into business-as-usual ownership.

- Significant senior-level experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, growth or commercial leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth, service expansion or strategic partnership outcomes.
- Strong experience developing business cases and evaluating commercial opportunities.
- Understanding of the NDIS environment and associated compliance obligations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Strategy, Commerce, Marketing, Community Services, Health, Human Services or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent senior leadership experience will be highly regarded.

- Experience within disability, health, aged care, community services or a related sector is highly desirable.

- Current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Working with Children Check where required.
