Our Moruya team are looking for a new Sales Executive or Trainee Sales person to join them.
Role DescriptionDay-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, preparing quotes, negotiating sales, and completing all necessary documentation to finalise transactions.
This is a full-time, on-site Sales role based in Moruya, NSW.

Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, preparing quotes, negotiating sales, and completing all necessary documentation to finalize transactions.
– Comfort with basic digital tools and dealership systems for managing customer information, inventory, and sales processes.
The role also involves maintaining product knowledge across the group brands such as Kia, BYD, GWM, Nissan, and Ford.Keeping the display area organised and presentable, and collaborating with finance, service, and administrative teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
The Sales Executive is expected to meet individual and team sales targets while providing professional, ethical, and customer-centered service.
– Prior experience in automotive or retail sales is highly desirable; formal training in sales or business is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and convert inquiries into completed vehicle sales.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities, including clear verbal communication and active listening in a retail environment.
- Solid organisational and time management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and documentation accurately.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and dealership systems for managing customer information, inventory, and sales processes.
- Knowledge of or strong interest in the automotive industry, including vehicle features, financing options, and after-sales services.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based dealership environment and contribute to shared targets.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Prior experience in automotive or retail sales is highly desirable; formal training in sales or business is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, inclusivity, and providing a respectful experience to all customers and colleagues.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for product launches & training events.
